Alan K. Smith, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Smith is originally from upstate New York. He attended Syracuse University and the University of Florida. He received his Doctor of Audiology Degree from the University of Florida in 2001. He has completed traineeships in Audiology at the Institute for Sensory Research at Syracuse University and at the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in Syracuse, N.Y. He completed a fellowship in pediatric audiology in Charlotte, N.C. Prior to opening Anderson Audiology Consultants, P.A. Dr. Smith was the chief of audiology at an eye and ear practice in South Carolina.
Dr. Smith has served on the South Carolina State Board of Examiners in Audiology and Speech Pathology being appointed by both Governors Hodges and Sanford. He continues to serve on the IRC for the State Board of Examiners in Audiology. He is a past president of the South Carolina Academy of Audiology. Dr. Smith resides in Anderson, South Carolina. Dr. Smith’s outside interests include boating and fishing, competitive shooting, writing and watercolor painting.
Kayla graduated from Dixie High School and Erskine College in Due West, South Carolina. She resides in Belton with her family.
Kristie graduated from Seneca High School and TriCounty Technical College. She resides in Anderson with her family.
